10 Scripture Promises for Pregnancy Anxiety
It just requires training your brain + repetition and the result = Transformation!
I've actually experienced amazing decreased levels of anxiety when practicing positive habits, such as forgiveness, gratitude and meta-cognitive thinking processes. In a nutshell, this is simply shifting my thought idea - dead in its tracks, before it leads to a trail of negative thinking...and most importantly letting God's word take root in my heart to guide the shift in my default thinking. So here's a few promises that I like to call the "Thought-Track Shifters:
Psalm 32:8
"I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go. I will counsel you with my eye upon you."
2 Timothy 1:7
"For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, love and a sound mind."
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
'Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. "
Isaiah 41:10
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous hand."
Isaiah 66:13
"As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you."
2 Corinthians 10:5
"We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."
Psalm 32:7
"You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance."
2 Corinthians 12:9
"My Grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness"
Daniel 10:19
"Do not be afraid, you who are highly esteemed," he said. "Peace! Be strong now; be strong." When he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, "Speak, my lord, since you have given me strength."
Isaiah 41:13
"For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you."
